I have officially been accepted into the AustraLearn program. I will spending 8 weeks teaching at Rozelle Primary School in the Inner West Suburb of Sydney. The school has a population of 430 students including 14 Aboriginal students. From my research online as soon as I found out my placement, my school is only a 15 minute drive from the Sydney Opera house and downtown Sydney. I have yet to find out my living placement, but I will keep you updated as soon as I do. I am so excited for this summer and I although I absolutely am dreading the plane ride (future information on the travel plans to come) I cannot wait to experience Australia.
