Well ladies and gentlemen, the time has come to begin packing, say my goodbyes, and head back home. This summer has gone by so fast! I can't believe that I have already been here for 10 weeks and it is already time to go home. As much as I want to go home and enjoy some warm weather and of course see everyone, I love this country and I have had such an amazing time that I don't know if I am ready to leave.
Tonight we are going out for our last house dinner. We are going down to the pub on the corner, which is the same place that we all went out to on our first night in Sydney so we felt it only appropriate. Tomorrow is my last day of work and I am definitely going to miss my kids and everyone at Rozelle a lot. This has been such an amazing experience and they were such a big part of it. Tomorrow is going to feel very weird knowing that I won't be coming back on Monday.
As much as I know I am going home, I really don't think it has hit me much yet. I haven't started cleaning my room or packing any of my things. I figure that Friday night will be a good night to get all of that done. Hopefully this will make me very tired and let me sleep on the plane ride back. I am really excited to get to the beach and just relax for a bit.
I am sorry that I have been so lax about posting lately. I will try and post one more time before I leave, but at least once when I get home (just so everyone knows I am alive haha).
